Talk about the view! 🤩 This beautiful 3-panel sliding door blurs the line between indoors and out, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Some projects just click, and this one did from day one. Tucked into the pines with mountains on the horizon, this log cabin had a view worth showing off. Now it finally has a door that does it justice.

The Project

The goal was simple: open up the main living space to the deck and let the outdoors in. A 3-panel sliding door was the perfect fit. It gives a wide, uninterrupted stretch of glass, so the trees, the meadow and the mountains become part of the room.

When it’s open, the doorway is generous enough to make heading out to the grill or bringing guests in from the deck feel effortless. When it’s closed, you still get the full view without stepping outside.

The Details

We went with slim black frames to keep the focus on the glass and the scenery. The dark finish pairs beautifully with the cabin’s rich log siding and chocolate-brown trim, giving it a clean, modern edge without losing that cozy cabin character.

The new door sits neatly within the existing trim, right under the “Cabin Sweet Cabin” sign, so it looks like it was always meant to be there. Smooth-gliding panels, a crisp fit and plenty of natural light: that’s what a good install should feel like.
