It’s been a really fun and exciting time here at Precision Glass with fancy mirrors and glass problem solving!

 

We’ve been working with Venessa Pleasants (https://www.instagram.com/vanessa.pleasants/) and one of her clients up on Big Mountain in Whitefish Montana with a really fun concept! She’s bringing a Japanese inspired spa room to life and we’re providing the mirror cladding for some of the walls.

 

It’s really hard to get the artistic mirror details to show up in the photos but we also have a sample you can see in person! The black mirrors are textured and when you get closer to the mirrors the texture really starts to stand out. I think it kind of looks like burnt wood with some reflectiveness. It’s a fascinating mirror product and we’re really grateful to be a part of the project!

 

Vanessa reached out to Precision Glass to help find a suitable mirror product back in 2024 and we reached out to our artistic glass & architectural glass supplier network to see what options we might have. After a few orders of glass samples to better gauge the feel of each option we settled on this black textured mirror.

 

One neat aspect of the mirrors is that in low lighting the texture stands out even more. So in the dim spa area the mirror texture will come alive and the mirror’s reflectivity will decrease. It’ll be harder to see your own face and other distinct features in the mirror which is what the client wants!
