Why swap window glass? Because it’s cheaper, quicker, and easier than swapping the whole window, frame and all! Precision Glass can typically remove some vinyl stops, remove the old window glass with the failed seals, clean the window frame, and install new glass for clients within the Flathead Valley.

Now there are some window frames that just ready for an update. The Flathead Valley has its fair share of cold, intense summer sun and heat, and hail, all which can damage or wear out window frames. As the window frame warms up and cools down it stretches and eventually the window frame screws/nails (typically in wood windows) or seams (typically in vinyl windows) start to work loose or come apart. When this is the case Precision Glass isn’t able to warranty the window replacement work and would recommend a full window replacement.

With new insulated glass (gas filled dual pane) this Precision Glass client will have better R-Values and a clearer view through the rest of this unreasonably warm, knock on wood, Flathead Valley winter.
